Students were asked to design wearable objects as a brand extension for a company of their choice. The wearable is meant to tackle global wellbeing issues in 5 years time.

The IKEA Bracelet improve the in-store shopping experience for customers by giving access to a digital cart, pre-order items for pickup, and cashier-less checkout.
Analyzing the brand ideals and personality in order to apply it on the product extension.
IKEA shares goals with the basis of wearables, so the focus on the experience and tried to find the middle ground between them both.
Features
The users are encouraged to use the bracelet as they come in to the store for a small fee which can save them the trouble of picking up the furniture boxes themselves as they checkout.

Technology
The bracelet uses the same tech as an apple pay reader and can harvest energy by motion.
Process and changes on the shape and features while prototyping the bracelet on fellow classmates. The size is similar to a 44mm apple watch.
